About the Crown C.A.R.E.S. Programs

Bullying can erode self esteem, impact learning at school, cause anxiety and depression, even lead to suicide.
The Crown C.A.R.E.S.  Creating A Respectful Environment in Schools allows our members to make a positive difference in society by uniting, engaging and educating communities statewide to prevent bullying.

One of the most powerful things we can convey to our youth is that they are beautiful inside and out.  It’s not about the crown one wears on their head, more importantly it’s about the crown one wears in the heart!  Mentoring young people to be tomorrow’s leaders while supporting anti-bullying and the prevention of cyber-bullying.  We believe that when you reflect back on your life, the moments that will stand out are the moments when you have helped others.  This is why we encourage our members to participate in community service, read at schools and libraries and promote a healthy lifestyle.  We encourage our members to be leaders in this program.

Get involved.  Help spread awareness and show you CARE by inviting our titleholders to help Create A Respectful Environment in YOUR School!

Pageant Perk - Shanghai Circus

Miss Hawaii High 2013, Brooke Souza and Miss Hawaii Jr. High 2013, Mahea Tulba got an unexpected treat and cultural experience on January 20, 2013.  They along with their families got to see their 1st ever Shanghai Circus at the Hawaii Theater.

Before the intermission, one of the troop members pictured on the far right of the 1st photo showcased her flexibility and talent emerging through a cylinder just wide enough to fit herself through "barely".  "Bottom's Up" is an understatement to say the least!  Brooke's little sister had made a comment on how she just knew the cylinder had to be filled with lots of butter!  What a cute and truly sincere response to what we had all just witnessed.

During intermission we all crossed the China Town street to enjoy in the delights of a local crack seed store before the continuation of the incredible acrobatic show of skill, grace and strength.
The Shanghai Circus - A Tom Moffatt Production ended with a meet and greet where the girls were able to get a few photo ops with the cast.  We even ran into Nisi, one of our Jr. High Delegates who watched the show with her Ohana from the 3rd row!

Mahalo Uncle Alan Arato for our great show seating and pageant perk experience!
